Featuring AKG Reference Sound, Hi-Res Audio both in wireless and wired mode, and True Adaptive Noise Cancelling, they envelop you in immersive spatial audio, pulling you into your flow so you can find your creative focus even in the noisiest work environment. The 2.4GHz USB-C dongle connects seamlessly with any device via Bluetooth®, and fits elegantly inside the left earcup when it's not in use. When it's time for a conference, four virtual adaptive beamforming microphones cancel out all the noise while picking up every nuance of your voice, whether you're working remotely or in an office setting. Plus, the AKG N9 Hybrid are Zoom-certified. The ultra-lightweight band and cushioned PU leather earcups are comfortable enough to let you enjoy heightened clarity and pure, undistorted sound all day, every day. And with 100 hours of playtime*, you'll get through an entire work week before you need to recharge.

Plug the smart USB-C dongle conveniently stored in the ear cup (USB-A connector is included), in any device for instant and seamless connection. The multi-point connection lets you easily switch between a call on your phone and a Zoom meeting on your desktop, while Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair allow for a smooth experience when connecting with multiple devices. The AKG N9 Hybrid headphones connect via Bluetooth® with any Apple, Android, or Windows device.
40mm dynamic drivers with Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) diaphragms deliver wide-range detail and brilliant dynamic sound with ultra-low distortion and fast transient response. Bass is rich and precise, vocals are clear and accurate, and the high notes are vividly lifelike. In addition, the AKG N9 Hybrid headphones support Hi-Res Audio both via the 3.5mm jack cable and wirelessly via BT. Along with powerful AKG Reference Sound, the AKG N9 Hybrid headphones turn any stereo content from any device into virtual surround sound. The wide soundstage and detailed placement of the instruments and vocals makes your favorite music feel even more transportive, delivering a more detailed, realistic and immersive experience.
Use the top quality True Adaptive Noise Cancelling technology—which is customizable through the App—to decide exactly how much of the outside world you want to hear. With Auto Compensation, six mics automatically detect environmental noise and make real-time adjustments. Or you can manually select your preferred ANC level. When you don't want to interrupt your flow, tune out your surroundings entirely with Noise Cancelling, which automatically adapts to the level of noise around you.
4 virtual adaptive beamforming microphones (2 on each earcup) constantly monitor the noise level of your environment, so your voice is the only sound others will hear, on a phone call or a video conference. AI machine learning intelligently suppresses ambient noise based on your individual noise scenario. The hydrodynamic windproof design significantly reduces distortion from air friction to give you crystal-clear calls, even outdoors. AKG N9 Hybrid headphones are Zoom-certified, guaranteeing high-quality communication and full functional compatibility with the leading video conferencing app. And the LED indicator on the dongle lets you immediately know whether you are muted or not.
Open the AKG Headphones app and use the voice setting to fine-tune your voice for meetings, presentations, or even performances. You can also use sound setting to add more bass or treble to other people's voices. A sound level optimizer adjusts the volume of others, so you'll never have to ask someone to speak up or tell them they're talking too loud. Finally, Voice Aware fine-tunes the amount of your own voice that you hear when so speak, so you won't disturb others by talking too loudly in a crowded coffee shop or subway car.

The ultra-lightweight band and cushioned earcups are comfortable enough to let you enjoy heightened clarity and undistorted pure sound all day, every day. Whenever you're not using the supplied USB dongle, it fits neatly into the left earcup—never misplaced, always within reach. The volume can be easily controlled by turning the earcup knob.

  • Personi-Fi 2.0

    Personi-Fi 2.0 is a feature available through the Headphones App for select models. This feature helps to personalize the sound using the best possible sound curve based on your hearing capabilities. It will first ask a few questions, and then check your current ambient audio. You will be informed that this step should be completed in a quiet environment. It will play a series of test tones in all the different frequencies wherein after each frequency test tone is played, it will ask you what is the lowest volume setting you can hear. Nine different sounds will be played in each ear (18 in total).

    Simply press and release the button when you hear a sound. After it goes through all the test tones, it then calculates the best sound for your ears based on the results. It allows you to demo the results by playing a track. You will be able to toggle it on/off to hear the difference.

  • SilentNow Information
    The SilentNow feature allows you to activate Noise Cancelling without using Bluetooth, i.e. simply turning on ANC without playing music. A useful feature if you just want to enjoy a quiet moment or would like to rest on a long-haul flight.
