You cannot disengage ANC, it is always on when the headphones are on. However, you can listen to music via cable if you do not switch the N700 on at all, which means that ANC will not be active.Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback!

You can activate the Ambient Aware and TalkThru functions and assign one of them to the smart-button. AA will open the external microphones and mute the music so you can hear what is going on around you. Move the ON/OFF button from its OFF position to its ON position, which is the middle of the cutout. It will remain there, and the headphones are now ON. The blue LED will start blinking, indicating that Bluetooth pairing is possible. If you need to reset the BT pairing, move the ON/OFF button against the spring load, to the opposite position of the OFF position, and keep it there for about 5 seconds.
